| The
end of the world as we know it
By Jean Christou
According to an award winning author currently
in Cyprus, it is people that have to change not
the planet
IN THESE troubled times of war, famine, disease
and global climate change it is not surprising
there is a lot of talk about the end of the world.
From a religious perspective, fundamentalist
Christians believe we are already in the seven
years of tribulation or the ‘end times’
and are preparing for the Antichrist, Armageddon,
the Rapture and the Second Coming of Jesus. They
say the end of the world will happen in the next
few years.
Scientists, on the other hand, struggle to work
out what is really causing global warming and
continue to try and ascertain whether the planet
may be destroyed by these internal dangers or
by external phenomena such as asteroids or comets.
They say it could be hundreds, if not thousands,
of years before the world ends.
If one turns to a combination of spirituality
and science, a third scenario emerges: not the
“end of the world” but rather the
“end of the world as we know it”.
The date? December 21, 2012, according to the
Mayan calendar and other ancient and prophetic
time frames.
American-based author and columnist for United
Press International, Jean-Claude Koven, a participant
in this weekend’s Mind, Body, Spirit exhibition,
addresses the issue in his award-winning book
Going Deeper: How to Make Sense of Your Life When
Your Life Makes No Sense.
In his introduction, Koven says if you are deeply
saddened by the way humans treat each other, suffer
from allergies and other sensitivities, feel somewhat
alienated, even from friends and loving family,
find yourself thinking that UFOs and channelling
might be true, are more comfortable with plants
or animals than with people, have a sense that
you came here to do something important, “you
may be one of the 70 million Wanderers who are
here to assist with the impending shift.”
“The world isn’t going to end but
the geometry is going to change to the point that
if we were going to make the shift right now the
vast majority of people could not take the light
quotient. It’s a completely different vibration,”
said Koven.
Essentially, what Koven is saying is that Planet
Earth is speeding up and is headed for an area
in the universe where a faster light energy vibrates.
Some call it the Fourth Dimension.
But because physical matter, including the human
body, exists on what is called the Third Dimension,
which vibrates at a much lower speed, it cannot
handle the faster intake of light particles unless
the human race raises its consciousness to that
level.
The more elevated the level of consciousness,
the higher the density of the person, allowing
them to exist in that higher density. Koven said
he once had a glimpse into fourth density. “It
was so bright that it was uncomfortably bright,”
he said.
Referring to 2012 he said; “I look at all
that and I think how can I buy into it but it's
actually a very real physical astronomical date
where there is a perfect alignment, and where
there is an opening in the cosmos that aligns
with the central sun of our galaxy.
“It has come up in so many apparently different
and disparate belief systems and teachings, and
they call criss-cross that this particular moment
in time. Let me act as if this is true. Do I know
it to be true, absolutely not but it’s akin
to a vast train station, and what will happen
will depend on your existing light quotient. As
best as I can put it together... we spin at a
fantastic rate of knots. We are advancing towards
it and as we move faster the illusion is that
time is speeding up to zero point, which is the
21 December 2012 in all of the teachings.”
In one of his recent columns, Koven said the
forces we are all experiencing now are real but
are occurring not to destroy us but to prompt
us to shift to a new level of development. “We
are being invited to shift along with mother Earth
and her sister planets. Our bodies feel it, our
sleep patterns reflect it, our thoughts are driven
by it, and our awakening consciousness demands
that we resonate with it. We are each caught in
a compelling current that we can ultimately either
resist or join. If we choose to join and ride
it, we become willing participants in our own
transformation into a higher state of being.”
Koven backs up his view with scientific facts
relating to recent changes in our solar system.
He said the North Pole has already wandered some
1,100km into the Arctic Ocean and significant
changes have been recorded in the earth’s
gravity field that results in increased volcanic
and tectonic activity.
He also cites a recent article in the Observer
that talks about a clandestine report the US government
has received from the Pentagon warning major European
cities will be sunk beneath rising seas as Britain
is plunged into a "Siberian" climate.
Nuclear conflict, mega-droughts, famine and widespread
rioting will erupt across the world.
The document predicts that abrupt climate change
could bring the planet to the edge of anarchy
as countries develop a nuclear threat to defend
and secure dwindling food, water and energy supplies,
and that the threat to global stability vastly
eclipses that of terrorism.
Koven says the mission of the Wanderers is to
help evolve the consciousness of humanity during
this time of transition so that as many as possible,
if they so choose, can live on the new fourth
density Earth.
“What I try to sell very hard is awareness
and what you do with it is up to you. I have no
ism or ology that lasts more than ten minutes.
That’s a tough sell for me. The other thing
I try to do for people is rekindle curiosity.
Those are the two things that if I had a wish
would be my wish for people,” he said.
“If your purpose is here to serve, you will
know and I am only happy when I’m in service.
It isn’t a doing, it’s a being. I’m
constantly at odds with the people who get together
and hold hands and meditate and light candles
and go on vigils and send out prayers for the
planet. It’s not working because what needs
to change is not the planet. It’s you. It’s
me.”
