December 21,2012-My Two Cents Worth

I know what your thinking.....oh no.....not another blog about the end of the world! Well it might be another blog about 2012,but like the title says....its MY two cents worth!

Usually ,things like this I try and have fun with. I even try and freak people out....make them believe its true!Then just laugh the whole thing off. Because I know when the date arrives nothing will happen. But there is something about this time and this date that gives me a horrible feeling of dread!Maybe that's why I fight so hard for Global Warming. I figure if we can solve that problem all the other problems in the world will go away.Its the science fact behind this prediction,that has me concerned. The solar storms, the earth aligning with the center of our galaxy,the polar shifts,the axis wobble.

But there is something else.........so many ancient cultures and religions,so many prophets from the ancient past and the present have all written about this one day-December 21,2012.Why? If it was just one religion,one mad scientist or one crazy person it would be different. But there are so many millions of people that think this date is significant. There are lots of different theories about what will happen or how it will happen. I do not have a theory myself. I hope the earth will remain,as well as some of its people. And I hope and pray that whatever happens it will cause humankind to live in peace and be kind to the the planet they live on!

In a way,I wish the day would pass and nothing would happen. I'll feel foolish and just laugh it off. Of course then,all the horrible problems that humans and this earth face now,will still be there. So,in a way I am kind of hoping something of significance happens that will help solve some of our problems. Even if it means going through dark dangerous times. I've learned from personal experience(Hurricane Katrina) that you have to go through that dark scary tunnel before you get to the light at the end........and at times you have to go through more than one tunnel.

Lets hope on December 21,2012 we go through our last dark scary tunnel......then when we come out into the light,the earth will be a cleaner happier more peaceful place to live! Wouldn't that be amazing?
