ends in 2012

The
world, as we know it, will end cataclysmically
on December 21, 2012, according to the Mayan calendar,
which began a countdown of time allotted 3,000
years ago. This is the belief of T&T visionary,
Kazim Mohammed, who said this prediction tied
in with a Nostradamus quadrant. Mohammed, a retired
Ministry of Local Government county superintendent,
who is also a poet and author, is not panicking
about the end of time, but, in fact, is making
interesting comparisons of how the facade of our
politicians is unravelling as the vibrations take
effect.
Mohammed was interviewed two days before former
UNC Opposition Leader and party founder, Basdeo
Panday, made his extraordinary move to vote against
his colleagues to defeat a motion to debate alleged
corruption by Udecott executive chairman, Calder
Hart. According to a paper prepared by Mohammed,
of Saddle Road in Maraval, to inform the nation
about the Mayan calendar prediction, and the effects
the approaching calamity is having on our leaders:
“Many lands, nations and societies will
fall. Leaders who have ‘bowed’ to
Satan after seeing his kingdom with all its glamour,
glitter and power—which Jesus Christ refused—will
all ‘tremble’ into oblivion.
“Hate and anger and sleeping with the devil
cannot enter into the finer vibrations of the
spiritual age. “As a consequence, if (Basdeo)
Panday continues with the kind of vengeance look
that appears on his face, he will call his own
demise. “Watch!” Mohammed seems to
be giving Prime Minister Patrick Manning a thumbs-up,
for he says unless leaders put into positions
of power “direct their thoughts and mental
energies into the divine regions, the entry of
their nations into the golden age that is dawning
will be obstructed by great misfortune.”
Manning, however, comes in for some blows for:
• Advocating hiding the truth: not washing
government linen in public;
• Making the nation believe what is false:
milk and honey will flow in T&T with property
tax;
• Changing old age pension into a grant;
• Deliberately creating jobs for PNMites;
• Employing his wife Hazel as a minister;
• Spending billions on the Port-of-Spain
Waterfront Project “only for skyline ambition...”
• Spending a billion on the Brian Lara Stadium,
when this could have comforted the poor and destitute
of T&T.
Mohammed says the end of the world, according
to the Mayans, is theoretical, in the sense that
it marks the cessation of deceit, lies, injustice,
anger, nepotism, and signals the rise of love,
truth, justice, integrity and purity. New leaders
will emerge, according to Mohammed, who sees US
President Barack Obama as a vessel charged with
charisma. Who does he predict will emerge from
the pack of politicians here in T&T by December,
2012? Congress of the People leader Winston Dookeran.
